American Airlines launches summer schedule

American Airlines Cargo has launched its summer schedule, launching seasonal routes and increasing the frequency of services.

Out of Europe, American Airlines is operating new flights between Barcelona-El Prat and Dallas/Fort Worth, Philadelphia has been connected with Copenhagen and Nice Côte d’Azur airports, and it is linking Venice Marco Polo Airport with Chicago’s O’Hare airport.

American Airlines is established in European markets through its trucking network, transporting goods including pharmaceuticals and fish from Copenhagen and fragrances from the Nice area.

Several summer routes have become year-round services including Philadelphia’s links with Barcelona and Lisbon, and services between Charlotte Douglas and Madrid-Barajas airports.

On transpacific routes, American Airlines has launched services between Tokyo Haneda and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, and has made Dallas/Fort Worth to Shanghai Pudong International Airport flights a daily service.

Domestically, American Airlines is providing widebody capacity from its largest hub at Dallas/Fort Worth and other key hubs including Miami, Chicago O’Hare and Philadelphia.

Roger Samways, Vice President Commercial of American Airlines Cargo, says, “Offering new and increased service out of multiple regions helps us to meet the growing needs of our customers in important markets and we welcome this opportunity to further expand our network.”
