Menzies Aviation, the global aviation logistics specialist, has become the latest signatory to ULD CARE’s Code of Conduct.
This latter represents the aviation industry’s gold standard benchmark for the safe and efficient operation of unit load devices in flight cargo.
Established in 2018, and derived from the IATA ULD Regulations, the ULD CARE Code of Conduct sets the standard for all ULD handling and operations, ensuring that the industry has clear instructions and guidance for their safe and efficient operation. Its ten steps ensure responsible handing, in-flight safety, damage-free handling and storage, safe transport, serviceability, stability, reporting, due skill and proper training.
A trade association of the ULD community, ULD CARE, promotes direction and delivers appropriate change in ULD operations throughout the global air cargo operating environment.
