Time:matters adds three locations in Asia

Lufthansa’s ‘special speed logistics’ subsidiary, time:matters, has added three stations in Japan, Singapore and Thailand to its network.

The latest destinations follow seven others that were recently opened in China as the company continues its internationalisation strategy. time:matters customers now have access to 84 weekly direct flights between the European hubs in Frankfurt, Munich and Vienna and the three new destinations in Asia.

This takes the time:matters’ presence to a total of ten Asian business centres: Tokyo, Singapore, Bangkok, Shanghai, Shenyang, Beijing, Nanjing, Qingdao, Chengdu and Guangzhou. Global customers from industries such as automotive, high-tech and semicon and medtech in particular will benefit from connections to these major economic centres in Asia.

time:matters is now offering transport of time-critical shipments between the new stations and its 21 existing ‘Sameday Air’ locations in Europe, Israel, the US and Mexico with the usual high level of reliability and precision

Transit at European hubs takes place in minimal time (starting at 45 minutes), combined with physical monitoring. Urgently required shipments reach the desired destinations reliably thanks to short handling times at the Asian stations (starting at 90 minutes).
