Cargo and mail handling operator in Sheremetyevo airport, Sheremetyevo-Cargo, has today been awarded the tender to provide ground support services for Vietnam Airlines.
The SkyTeam member airline resumed flights to Sheremetyevo airport from July 2, which is hoped to bring new business to the airport.
A press release by the cargo operator stated: “Sheremetyevo-Cargo JSC was chosen as cargo and mail ground handling agent with the best proposal in the tender. Regular direct flights to Vietnam open up new opportunities for our customers.”
Vietnam Airlines will operate flights from Sheremetyevo to Hanoi three times a week using Boeing 787.
