Air France/KLM getting back on track

At a time when wide-body belly capacity has been limited, Air France/KLM Martinair Cargo has been working to keep the sector moving.

Transport has been important for relief and healthcare-related goods needed to combat COVID-19, but this extends to embrace all other sorts of commodities. This week the partnership passed a significant milestone, re-opening its routes from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Saint Martin, Panama City, Bangui and Johannesburg. Additionally, flight schedules from Amsterdam's Schiphol to Paramaribo, Aruba, Saint Martin and Quito have been actioned. Furthermore, the carriers have added frequencies to several other destinations, such as Sao Paulo, Bogotá, Cayenne, Los Angeles, Toronto and Seoul.

Currently the partnership is serving 73 unique destinations and operating more than 375 weekly frequencies across its combined network. Still available are belly hold charter options with its passenger aircraft and the carriers report that they are continuing to expand their network in line with customer demand, data and intelligence.
