The airline was certified in 2017, making it the first US-based all-cargo airline to receive the CEIV Pharma certificate, and it was recertified in 2020.
To achieve recertification, Amerijet’s facilities, processes and staff training underwent a rigorous assessment to ensure compliance with IATA standards.
IATA CEIV Pharma certification is independently validated and ensures compliance with global standards set by IATA Temperature Control Regulations, European Union Good Distribution Practices, World Health Organization and the United States Pharmacopeia Standards.
Chris Mazzeo, VP of Global Operations at Amerijet, says, “This accomplishment reaffirms our dedication to excellence in the handling of temperature-sensitive healthcare and life science products. We understand the critical importance of maintaining the integrity and safety of these products, especially in today's global healthcare landscape.”
Eric Wilson, Chief Commercial Officer of Amerijet, adds, “Amerijet remains committed to staying at the forefront of industry best practices, and this recertification is a testament to that commitment. We will continue to invest in the training and development of our staff, the enhancement of our facilities, and the optimisation of our processes to provide the highest level of service to our valued clients.”
