Atlas Air and Turkish Cargo sign ACMI agreement

Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings and Turkish Cargo have signed a new long-term ACMI agreement to operate a Boeing 747-400 Freighter.

The agreement started early this month and will help Turkish Cargo to expand its global network and enhance capacity.

The B747-400F has over 110 tons of capacity.

Michael Steen, CEO of Atlas Air Worldwide said: “This long-term agreement demonstrates the continued demand for widebody freighter capacity and underscores the trust airlines place in Atlas to provide safe, reliable and efficient operations.”

Professor Ahmet Bolat, Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee at Turkish Airlines added: “Built on mutual trust and a shared vision with Atlas Air, we believe this collaboration will create long-term value and further strengthen our position within the global logistics ecosystem.”
