The Middle Eastern cargo carrier is offering discounted rates to local Qatari manufacturers who are current QDB clients and hold a certificate of origin for their products, to export to international markets.
The products under this partnership cover all types of general goods that are manufactured within the State of Qatar, although dangerous goods will be excluded from the agreement.
Guillaume Halleux, Qatar Airways' Chief Officer Cargo commented: “Through this agreement, we are pleased to support local Qatari manufacturers and help extend the reach and availability of their products to international markets. We have a young and modern fleet of freighters, passenger freighters, mini freighters and belly-cargo planes to cater to their export requirements. Additionally, through our bespoke charter solutions, they also have the option of utilising part or full charters.”
