IAG Cargo revenue rises as network is restored

Airlines
IAG Cargo has posted third quarter revenues of €373 million as services increased across its network.

The third quarter results took year-to-date revenue to €1.2 billion, up 3.6% against the same time period of 2021.

Services increased with capacity between London Heathrow, Madrid and the US more than doubling, and capacity across the whole business was up 35.9%.

Constant Fresh, IAG Cargo’s product for perishables, saw volumes grow 114%.

Extra transatlantic capacity meant US growers could export their goods, with a big increase in volumes heading to the Middle East where flights have doubled from IAG Cargo’s Heathrow hub.

Celebrating 5 years of its SME loyalty programme FORWARD.REWARDS, transactions from small and medium freight forwarders increased 20% compared to 2021.

To further expand its reach, IAG Cargo signed a partnership with Neutral Air Partner in June and continues to work closely with the WCAworld network of freight forwarders.
