Kargo Xpress will lease two 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighters (BCF) from GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS).
The first 737-800BCF will be delivered to M Jets International’s start-up in October with the second one following in December.
The Malaysian freight airline started scheduled flights in June with a 737-400F and the new aircraft will increase capacity on routes including to northern China and western India.
Gunasekar Mariappan, managing director of M Jets International says: “Our goal is to be the provider of choice for express e-commerce shipments, as well as point-to-point delivery, transshipment and flight-truck services for our time-to-market sensitive customers within Asia.”
