Moritz Claussen wins TIACA Rising Star Award

Moritz Claussen of cargo.one has won the inaugural TIACA Rising Star Award for his contributions to the digital transformation of air cargo.

The TIACA Rising Star Award recognises individuals under the age of 35 who have demonstrated excellence, innovation and impact in the air cargo and logistics sector.

Candidates were nominated across the industry and reviewed by the TIACA Board, which selected the winner based on the nominee’s tangible achievements and forward-thinking approach.

The Founder and Co-CEO of cargo.one was presented with the award at the TIACA Executive Summit in Hong Kong.

Vitaly Smilianets, Founder of Awery Aviation Software was awarded the TIACA Inspirational Leader Award at the same awards ceremony.

Steven Polmans, Chairman of TIACA said Claussen brought a refreshing approach to booking, marketing and experiencing cargo, saying: “He exemplifies what this award is all about—a bold, innovative thinker who not only delivers results but also motivates others to think differently.
