Qatar Airways Cargo launches SecureLift

Qatar Airways Cargo has launched SecureLift, a special product for handling valuable and vulnerable shipments.

Products falling under the Valuable category include precious metals, stones, gold bullion, banknotes, jewellery and watches while high value electronics and newly launched products come under the Vulnerable category.

Key features of SecureLift include high loading priority, close monitoring of shipments, data loggers and shipment escorts, secure handling, transportation and storage.

Valuable shipments are moved in specialised containers and boxes and kept in a strong-room with restricted access for added security with a constant temperature between 20-25C.

This service redefines safety and security standards for high-value and vulnerable shipments, showcasing our dedication to excellence, safety and cutting-edge solutions.”

In 2022, Qatar Airways Cargo transported over 9,000 tonnes of valuable and vulnerable cargo including electronics, banknotes, art shipments and various sensitive commodities.

SecureLift is available for scheduled and charter services and can be booked through its Digital Lounge online service.
