Suzi Perry to host BIFA Freight Service Awards

Suzi Perry has been named as the celebrity host for the British International Freight Association (BIFA) Freight Service Awards ceremony.

The broadcaster, who is nicknamed “Queen of the Pit Lane”, was the first permanent female anchor of BBC One’s Formula 1 coverage before returning to motorbikes in 2016 when she joined the BT Sport team as its channel ambassador and host of its Moto GP and Speedway GP series.

Perry has hosted other sporting events including the BBC’s live coverage of Royal Ascot, Wimbledon, the London Marathon, Trooping the Colour, the London Olympics, the Great North Run and the Boat Race.

She is being sponsored by ASM (UK) and BIFA says Perry will set the right tempo for the awards ceremony luncheon and get the event off to a flawless start, progress on schedule and get across the finishing line on time.

Entries for the BIFA Freight Services Awards 2023 are now closed and the finalists are due to be announced later this month.

The awards ceremony will be held at The Brewery in London on Thursday 18 January.
