Swedavia seeks partners at Stockholm Arlanda Cargo City

Swedavia is looking for long-term joint venture partners as the Cargo City at Stockholm Arlanda Airport enters the development phase.

The 144,400m2 development in the southwest of the airport is a new centre for air cargo, logistics and manufacturing.

It is 1km from Arlanda airport and has good road connections with Swedavia saying it is an optimal location for companies that need efficient premises and facilities.

Swedavia’s Real Estate business segment is looking for partners to develop land covering 144,400m2 with estimated building rights for a gross building area of 58,000m2.

Stefan Stenberg, CEO of Swedavia Real Estate, says, “The area around Arlanda has become one of the most important development areas for manufacturing and logistics in the Stockholm region. We think it is exciting that we can now offer this opportunity for collaboration and partnership on such a large area at Airport City Stockholm and look forward to many interesting business proposals.”

Swedavia says the development area is in a good location for both logistics and manufacturing in close proximity to the airport and the logistics hub Stockholm Nord, near the E4 motorway.

It is in a priority development area that will be an air cargo and manufacturing centre, which is subject to a generous zoning plan.

As part of Airport City Stockholm and the regional metropolis of Marsta-Arlanda, it has good transport links, says Swedavia.
