Adrien Thominet, Chairman of ECS Group has been appointed to serve on the Board of Directors at The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA).
Thominet has worked in air cargo for almost 30 years, joining ECS Group in 1995 as Commercial Manager and working his way up through the company.
He was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2011, moving up to CEO in 2017 then Executive Chairman in 2021.
Steven Polmans, Chairman of TIACA, says, “Adrien Thominet is a great leader who has had plenty of experience at a leading global GSSA. We look forward to working with him and we are sure he will have plenty to contribute.”
Thominet is filling the seat vacated by Bertrand Schmoll, who served on the board for five years.
TIACA adds that a board seat is open for a representative from the shipping community and additional seats may become available as the current terms end.
