The Bengaluru hub is its second dedicated airport facility following the opening of its Delhi gateway in 2020.
The facility in Bengaluru provides in-house customs clearance and serves as a cross-border trade link for southern India.
UPS will operate five Boeing 747-8 Freighter flights a week to Bengaluru, adding to the six weekly flights to Delhi.
Opening the Bengaluru gateway follows the launch of a new logistics brand for the Indian market, MOVIN, a joint venture between UPS and InterGlobe Enterprises to serve India.
