ABC flies Covid medical supplies on five charter flights

Pharma Airlines Charter
AirBridgeCargo (ABC) Airlines has transported over 200 tonnes of Covid-19 medical equipment on five charter flights to the US.

The five Boeing 747 flights flew packaging material for Covid-19 associated materials from Frankfurt to Atlanta, delivered under the National Healthcare Association project in co-operation with Geis Air + Sea to support local production facilities.

Yulia Celetaria, Global Healthcare Director of Volga-Dnepr Group says it took two months to provide the customer with dedicated charters to increase production of anti-viral materials in the US.

She says: “The success of our joint battle against Covid-19 spread lies not only in the scale of vaccine production facilities but also in the well-timed logistics of the so-called peripheral cargo – packaging, vials, injection syringe, PPE for medical personal and other associated items.”
