Cargo iQ holds advanced training session

Cargo iQ has introduced advanced training sessions, holding the inaugural workshop at the 31st CNS Partnership Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.

The workshop was held on Tuesday 23 May, with members attending the training aimed at those working in-depth on Cargo iQ projects and related tasks on a daily basis.

Laura Rodriguez, Manager Implementation and Quality Assurance at Cargo iQ says, “Our online Introductory training has provided a very good start to learning the basics of Cargo iQ for our members, but the virtual aspect brings some limitations to the level of interaction and knowledge exchange. We see immense value in running the training face to face and don’t plan to hold these sessions in a hybrid or virtual format, at least for now.”

The advanced training is free of charge for members and the six modules are planning logic, ENCORE, Milestones and KPIs, Smart Data and Reporting, Exception Handling codes, and Audit and Certification.

A second training day is scheduled for 17 June, taking place in Geneva after Cargo iQ’s Working Group meeting.

Lothar Moehle, Executive Director of Cargo iQ says, “The idea is to hold sessions in different geographies to allow access to our global membership, which is why we take the opportunity to hold an in-person training session when we travel to a conference.”

Further sessions are planned for the year once the best locations and dates have been decided.
