DSV Panalpina changes name back to DSV

Freight Forwarding
Shareholders at DSV Panalpina have approved changing the company’s name back to DSV at an extraordinary general meeting today (Wednesday 8 September).

Since 2019, the parent company has been called DSV Panalpina following DSV’s takeover of Panalpina, but it was decided that after the takeover of Agility’s Global Integrated Logistics (GIL), the name should become DSV again.

The decision was made at the meeting hosted by DSV at its headquarters in Hedehusene, near Copenhagen.

As part of the $4.7bn acquisition of GIL, Agility can nominate a representative to DSV’s Board of Directors, and it has chosen Agility’s Vice Chairman, Tarek Sultan Al-Essa for the role.
