ECS Group signs up to CHAMP's SaaS version of Cargospot

ECS Group has extended its partnership with CHAMP Cargosystems to use the Software as a Service (SaaS) version of Cargospot.

Signing the deal at the IATA World Cargo Symposium in Dublin on 12 October, the two companies have worked increasingly closely over the past three years as ECS’s digital and IT teams and CHAMP have worked on customising Cargospot to fulfil ECS’s requirements.

ECS has also adopted Traxon cargoHUB, Traxon Global Customs and Traxon Global Security from CHAMP Cargosystems.

Cargospot’s newest functionalities will support ECS’s digital transformation as it is integrated in the GSA’s cloud strategy.

Chris McDermott, CEO of CHAMP Cargosystems says: “CHAMP has been thrilled to collaboratively meet the complex challenges that such a large GSA faces in providing smooth operations across the globe.”

Cedric Millet, Chief Strategy and Digital Officer at ECS Group says: “CHAMP’s Cargospot is an important component of the digital ecosystem we have created, and interfaces with the many state-of-the-art digital solutions that have been built by our own Cargo Digital Factory.”
