Etihad Cargo appoints managers for premium products

Etihad Cargo has appointed specialised managers for its cool chain, mail and e-commerce, live animals, and high value product ranges.

Nasir Sajwani will lead FlightValet, which manages transporting high-value vehicles, FlyCulture, which provides secure and discreet transport for rare and valuable artwork and musical instruments, and SafeGuard, the dedicated secure service for valuable cargo.

Fabrice Panza will continue to lead Etihad Cargo’s cool chain products including PharmaLife, which uses specially designed temperature-controlled equipment and specific processes to ship pharmaceuticals, and FreshForward for the movement of perishable products.

Etihad Cargo was the first airline in the region to be awarded IATA CEIV Pharma certification and the first regionally and second globally with IATA CEIV Fresh.

Ram Vignesh is now in charge of air mail and e-commerce services and Arun Nair is leading the LiveAnimals and SkyStables products.

Martin Drew, Senior Vice President Sales and Cargo at Etihad Aviation Group says that premium products and services count for 30% of operations, saying: “The renewed emphasis on premium products reflects Etihad Cargo’s desire to provide clients the highest possible service level which will ensure long-term relationships as the air cargo partner of choice.”
