Etihad Cargo to add freighter services to Shanghai

Etihad Cargo is increasing services to China with an additional freighter service to Shanghai starting on 2 February.

The additional freighter service will be Etihad Cargo’s eighth flight between Abu Dhabi and Shanghai, bringing cargo capacity to 850 tons a week.

Martin Drew, Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing at Etihad Aviation Group, says, “Etihad Cargo is committed to expanding its operations in China, which is a key global market for the carrier. Following the introduction of two more weekly freighter services between Shanghai and Abu Dhabi in 2022, this additional freighter service between Etihad Cargo's Abu Dhabi hub and Shanghai will further enable Etihad Cargo to fully meet customers' capacity needs.”

Etihad Airways is adding passenger services with a fifth weekly flight from 2 February, providing capacity on widebody passenger aircraft.
