Frankfurt-Hahn seeks new investors

The administrators for Frankfurt-Hahn Airport Group have appointed consultants to find investors for its assets.

Falkensteg has been appointed by Dr Jan Markus Plathner to find one or more investors interested in the airport’s assets including the property.

Investors will have the option to acquire all assets, units to be defined or single assets.

The airport in Rhineland-Palatinate has various properties and expansion areas, a 3,800-metre runway and a 24-hour operating permit.

In 2020, Frankfurt-Hahn handled 233,000 tonnes of air cargo, making it the fourth busiest cargo airport in Germany after Frankfurt, Leipzig/Halle and Munich.

Falkensteg says all expressions of interest should be submitted in writing by 10am GMT on 20 December 2021 to the following address:
