Toowoomba Wellcamp airport has announced the commencement of an additional freight service, operated by Cathay Pacific.
This service will support economic recovery and growth for Queensland and global supply chains. Since 2015, Toowoomba Wellcamp has fostered a strong alliance with Cathay Pacific. A continuous supporter of Toowoomba Wellcamp and the local region, the airline provides the opportunity to have goods, such as fresh produce, exported directly into international markets overnight.
Commencing June 14, Toowoomba Wellcamp and Cathay Pacific will be adding an additional freight-only service, offering exporters from the region additional capacity. Cathay Pacific will operate a Boeing 777-300 into the airport every week for the following six weeks.
