Groundforce Portugal broke records in December, handling over 14,000 tonnes of air cargo at the airports where it operates.
Covering imports, exports and transhipments, volumes grew 46% compared to December 2020, with a total of 14,148 tonnes of cargo being handled.
The handling agent, which operates at Lisbon, Porto, Faro, Funchal and Porto Santo airports says: “This new maximum demonstrates the resilience and increasing importance of our customers' air cargo business and proves Groundforce Portugal's ability to accompany them in this growth.”
