Sacramento's new cargo centre

Aeroterm, an owner and developer of on-airport cargo facilities, has announced the completion of a new Class A, 40,500 square foot facility at Sacramento International airport.

The facility is fully leased and will now transition to cargo operations.

Built to Aeroterm's corporate LEED standards, the building's architects are looking to be awarded the LEED Silver Certification level. With sustainability as a focus, the design implements practical and measurable strategies aimed at achieving high performance in terms of both water savings and energy efficiency. The building includes features such as daylighting, insulated metal wall panels, LED warehouse lights with occupancy sensors, low-flow water fixtures along with high volume fans. On a logistical level, the facility also includes 17 landside dock doors and will be used for airside to landside cargo operations.

Aeroterm is currently working on air cargo development projects at John F Kennedy International, as well as Miami International and Chicago O'Hare.
