SpiceJet in Singapore initiative

SpiceJet has launched a twice a week service linking Bangalore, Mumbai and Chennai with Singapore.

The initial flight (from Chennai) landed at Changi on February 20. The network is served by the parent company's freight offshoot, that of SpiceXpress, making use of a B737F.

SpiceXpress operations date back to 2018 and the carrier's ongoing success has led to an expansion of the fleet. Like most cargo carriers, it has been involved in vaccine distribution and the carriage of medical supplies in the fight against the pandemic.
