DoKaSch and Japan Airlines sign new rental agreement

DoKaSch Temperature Solutions and Japan Airlines have signed a new Master Rental Agreement to use temperature-controlled Opticooler containers.

The new agreement for the active containers will transport vaccines and pharmaceuticals from the airline’s hub at Narita International Airport in Tokyo across its intercontinental network.

The Opticooler comes in two sizes, the RAP which can hold up to 5 euro-pallets, and the smaller RKN unit which can carry 1 euro-pallet.

Both the RAP and the RKN units are battery-powered and can maintain desired temperature levels.

They are charged with a power socket and can be used as temporary storage when the necessary cool infrastructure is lacking.

Kiyoaki Yasui, Team leader, Cold Chain Logistics Team at Japan Airlines, says, “The Opticoolers provided by DoKaSch Temperature Solutions are fulfilling our high standards and will support our extensive cool chain network in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.”

Andreas Seitz, Managing Director of DoKaSch Temperature Solutions, adds, “The new Master Rental Agreement with Japan Airlines is an important addition to our partner network and significantly increases the availability of our Opticoolers in the Asia-Pacific region.”
