EFW completes first A330P2F conversion for ATSG

Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW) has converted its first Airbus A330 for Air Transport Services Group (ATSG), which will be operated by ULS Airlines Cargo.

The A330P2F, which was converted at EFW’s facility in Dresden, is the first of 30 A330s that EFW will convert for ATSG.

Other conversions for ATSG will be carried out by EFW’s partner Turkish Technic in Istanbul and China.

ATSG has committed to A330P2Fs to diversify its fleet with next generation widebody aircraft from EFW.

Todd France, Chief Commercial Officer of ATSG said: “As the first of 30 conversions, this aircraft represents our commitment to innovation and competitiveness in growing e-commerce markets around the globe. We do not want to just meet demand for capacity - we want to ensure we remain a leading lessor of freighter aircraft.”

Lee London, SVP Sales & Marketing at EFW added: “We are excited about this first A330 freighter aircraft that ATSG provides to ULS Airlines Cargo. Our next generation widebody freighter solution will be a strong enabler in helping ATSG meet the growing demand for air cargo.”
