
Azul started the Airbus A330 flights on 10 June, providing 10 tonnes of capacity each way.
The services include five flights a week from Madrid to Viracopos and three a week from Madrid to Recife.
To celebrate its entry into Spain, Global GSA Group hosted a Brazilian-themed launch event in Madrid.
The airline has also started flights from Porto with three connections a week to Viracopos and two to Recife.
Services to Madrid and Porto add to connections to Paris Orly and Lisbon.
