IAG Cargo adds flights from Barcelona to Miami

IAG Cargo is adding transatlantic capacity with three flights a week between Barcelona and Miami, operated by LEVEL.

The services will start on Sunday 31 March and increase to four times a week between June and September.

Miami is IAG Cargo’s fifth direct connection to the United States of America from Barcelona after Boston, Los Angeles, New York John F. Kennedy and San Francisco.

The Barcelona-Miami route adds to almost 200 weekly connections between Spain and the US.

Miami is the world’s largest gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean, offering two-way traffic linking the Americas and Europe.

Camilo Garcia Cervera, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at IAG Cargo, says, “The transatlantic corridor is an important part of our network and supports so many of our customers. Miami is a thriving logistics hub, strategic for air freight. With our already well-established network connecting major cities in the United States with Europe, this new route will enhance our connectivity even more.”

IAG Cargo will also restart services between Barcelona and San Francisco on 31 March with four flights a week.
