PACTL and LCSLM strengthen China-Mexico links

Shanghai Pudong International Airport Cargo Terminal (PACTL) and Lufthansa Cargo Servicios Logísticos De México have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen air connections between China and Mexico.

The MOU was signed at the transport logistic 2025 trade fair in Munich, Germany to strengthen the supply chain between China and Mexico with a strong focus on e-commerce exports and import commodities.

Key areas will include joint support of freighter flights through engagement with national and multinational carriers and exploring synergies under joint shareholder Lufthansa Cargo.

They will facilitate cargo movement with a focus on Chinese e-commerce exports and imports into China including perishables, pharmaceuticals and other high-value goods.

The two companies will carry out joint branding and business development to increase visibility and unlock market opportunities.

Both parties will exchange expertise and cooperate in terminal planning, construction and operations to improve ground handling efficiency and infrastructure development.
