Qatar Airways celebrates diversity with special livery

Qatar Airways Cargo has decorated a Boeing 777 Freighter with a Moved by People livery, celebrating Chapter 4 of its WeQare sustainability programme, Diversity.

The freighter flew from Toulouse to Doha via Oslo with the message thanking its diverse group of employees who are united in their dedication and professionalism.

It was painted in the unique livery in Toulouse showing the faces of a number of employees, and the aircraft will serve as the envoy for Chapter 4 of the WeQare initiative, which focuses on diversity.

Guillaume Halleux, Chief Officer Cargo at Qatar Airways, says, “Our Moved by People freighter will embark on a mission to convey our gratitude and pride in our people to as many of our colleagues around the world as possible. It is a visible reminder that our individual characters, backgrounds, and skills are what constitute our multicultural Qatar Airways Cargo family.”

Diversity is the latest focus topic in the WeQare initiative, focusing on the environment, society, economy, and culture.

It follows Chapter 3 – Let’s Stand Together, launched in April this year, supporting disadvantaged children globally.

Chapter 1 – One Million Kilos, started in July 2020, providing 1 million kilos of humanitarian aid and medical equipment to charitable organisations.

Chapter 2 – Rewild the Planet, followed in 2021 and is committed to preserving wildlife and endangered animals, and transporting them back to their natural habitats free of charge.
