CargoLogicAir makes new appointments to management teams

British all-cargo airline CargoLogicAir has confirmed new appointments to its executive and management teams to supports its growth strategy.

As CLA prepares to take delivery of its next Boeing 747 freighter, Frank De Jong joins the airline as Chief Operations Officer, succeeding Sten Rossby. De Jong has a background as part of Air France/KLM Cargo and his

David Kerr has confirmed three other senior appointments to the CLA team.previous position prior to joining CLA was as Director Product Development at CargoLogicManagement, a British management consulting company serving Volga-Dnepr Group and its strategic partners.

De Jong will assume responsibility for Flight, Ground and Technical operations, reporting to David Kerr, Chief Executive Officer.

Freddie Overton joins CargoLogicAir’s commercial team from IAG Cargo as Regional Director for Europe & Americas. His role is to drive expansion of CLA’s transatlantic and support the joint commercial platform with CLA’s partners.

Sean Pettit, an experienced aviation industry finance professional, has also joined the CLA management team as Head of Financial Control.

Sarah Owen is promoted to the role of Head of the Operations Control Centre at CLA, based at CargoLogicAir’s new headquarters in Stockley Park near London Heathrow airport.
