IATA has awarded Swissport’s warehouse operations in Nairobi with the CEIV certificate for pharmaceutical logistics.
CEIV is IATA’s Centre of Excellence for Independent Validators and Swissport becomes the first globally operating air cargo handler to receive the CEIV Pharma certification for a facility in Africa.
Swissport’s upgraded cargo warehouse at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International airport now benefits from the certification. CEIV Pharma protects the integrity of pharmaceutical products by ensuring that all facilities, equipment, operations and personnel comply with all applicable standards and regulations expected by pharmaceutical manufacturers.
