TIACA to hold first Regional Symposium in Amsterdam

The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) has launched its Regional Symposium series and will host the first event in Amsterdam in June.

The first event will be hosted by Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in Amsterdam city centre on 28 June and will include interactive conference sessions, an evening reception and an airport tour on 29 June.

The regional symposiums are designed to address regional issues and the programme will cover topics such as digitisation, sustainability, safety and security, market challenges and the economic outlook.

Each symposium will develop a regional action plan to be incorporated into TIACA’s strategic objectives and activities.

Attendance will be low to encourage both members and non-members to attend so TIACA can get an understanding of local needs.

Steven Polmans, Chairman of TIACA says: “TIACA is committed to being connected to our membership and by organising the Regional Symposiums, we are able to interact more intimately with our members in each region and discuss what issues they face on a day-to-day basis. TIACA is greatly appreciative for the support of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol for inviting us to Amsterdam to launch the inaugural event. We look forward to excellent discussions and outcomes.”
