Air Algerie has committed to 2 Boeing 737-800BCFs as part of an order for new 737s placed at the Paris Air Show.
The Algerian flag carrier ordered 8 737-9s at the Paris Air Show and signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the 737-800BCFs.
The 737-800BCF has a payload of up to 23.9 tonnes and a range of 2,025 nautical miles.
Stan Deal, President and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, says, “The highly reliable and capable 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighters will enable Air Algerie to capture growing cargo opportunities, expanding beyond its passenger business.”
