Air China Cargo receives first EFW A330P2F

Air China Cargo has taken delivery of its first Airbus A330P2F, the first A330 converted by EFW’s conversion partner Ameco.

The aircraft is the first of 8 A330s Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW) will convert for Air China Cargo as was agreed in a contract signed earlier this year.

All the A330s are owned by Air China Cargo with the first being handed over to Ameco to convert in Chengdu at the end of Q1.

The A330 was redelivered on time and a second aircraft has been inducted to undergo conversion.

Jordi Boto, CEO of EFW, says, “We are glad about the re-delivery and that Air China Cargo will operate Airbus converted freighters for the first time. We are looking forward to seeing soon an A330P2F with the Air China Cargo livery on its air freight mission.”
