Air Premia picks Globe Air Cargo as GSSA for Cambodia and Myanmar

Air Premia has appointed ECS Group subsidiary Globe Air Cargo as its GSSA for Cambodia and Myanmar.

Cargo from both countries will fly via Bangkok to global destinations including Seoul, Tokyo Narita, and US hubs including Los Angeles, San Francisco and Newark.

Boeing 787 services out of Bangkok will offer 15-18 tons of cargo capacity.

Interline connections will feed cargo into Bangkok for onward international distribution.

Exports from Cambodia will focus on ready-made garments and electronics, and exports from Myanmar will include textiles and agricultural goods.

Jean Ceccaldi, CEO of ECS Group, says, “Our team at Globe Air Cargo Cambodia is fully aligned with Air Premia’s goals, and we are confident in achieving strong commercial results across both markets.”

Noor Azizah, Regional Vice President Asia Pacific (excluding China) at ECS Group, adds, “Cambodia and Myanmar are high-potential, export-driven markets. Air Premia’s network gives local customers the long-haul reach they need. We’re excited to unlock new opportunities and further reinforce ECS Group’s footprint in Asia.”

Air Premia will gain access to the CargoTech suite, which includes tools for dynamic pricing, data analytics, booking optimisation and real-time performance tracking to streamline processes, enhance visibility and improve the customer experience.
