Aircastle orders four 737-800s from AEI

Aircastle has ordered four Boeing 737-800SF freighter conversions from Aeronautical Engineers (AEI).

The AEI 737-800 has a main deck payload of 23.9 tonnes and has eleven 88”x125” container positions, plus one position for an AEP/AEH.

It also has new floor beams aft of the wing box and an 86”x137” Main Cargo Door with a single vent door system.

AEI’s 737-800SF has an Ancra Cargo Loading System, a 9g barrier, five supernumerary seats as standard, a galley, and a full lavatory.
