AMI moves to new Cape Town facility

Air Menzies International (AMI) has moved to a new facility in Cape Town close to the airport.

The new facility near Cape Town International Airport offers faster transit times, reduced handling of shipments and is in close proximity to airline handling agents for smoother and more efficient operations.

It has additional warehouse space and features advanced cooler and freezer facilities with temperature control loggers to keep perishable goods in optimal condition.

A one-way traffic flow system eliminates congestion at entry and exit points and additional parking bays improve truck loading and unloading.

The premises are monitored 24/7 with CCTV and controlled access and the facility is designed with sustainability in mind, utilising eco-friendly equipment and energy-efficient lighting.

Carlos Font, CEO of AMI, says, “This impressive new facility is an important leap for AMI South Africa, as we continue to strengthen our value proposition and our ability to serve our clients. I also want to thank Milton French and Christina Adams for their leadership, vision and extraordinary passion.”
