AviaAM Leasing has delivered its third Boeing 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighter, joining the fleet of Bluebird Nordic.
The rapidly-growing Iceland-based cargo airline offers ACMI and full-service cargo services and its cooperation with AviaAM Leasing, also part of Avia Solutions Group, is assisting the lessee in its fleet expansion goals.
The 737-800 was converted by Boeing at the Taikoo (Shandong) Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (STAECO) facility in Jinan, China.
Audronė Keinytė, CEO of Bluebird Nordic, says, “The aircraft are ensuring reliable operations – with impressive range and payload for an aircraft of this size. We are expecting 5 more aircraft before the end of the year, which will take us to 8 -800s in our fleet, in addition to our B737 classic fleet."
