As a full IT member, Awery will provide expertise in AI, data sharing and tracking technologies to improve planning and monitoring of air cargo consignments.

Longer term, Awery plans to become a Cargo iQ Data Management Platform provider to further enhance data sharing between members.

Lothar Moehle, Executive Director of Cargo iQ, says, “Awery will support Cargo iQ’s ambition to leverage digital transformation to make end-to-end shipment visibility a reality for all stakeholders – an essential requirement for driving quality in the supply chain.”

Awery was awarded the Cargo iQ Prize at IATA’s ONE Record Hackathon 2023 for CargoTracking.aero, its door-to-door airfreight planning and real-time update solution for Cargo iQ members.

The solutions fill the gaps in Cargo iQ’s door-to-door Route Map by allowing members and non-members to collaborate on planning and monitoring the air cargo shipment’s journey via a URL.

Vitaly Smilianets, CEO of Awery Aviation Software, says, “We whole-heartedly support Cargo iQ’s mission to drive improved standards in the supply chain and look forward to supporting this mission with the technology needed to bring full transparency of shipment data to all parties.”
