Aerospace logistics specialist B&H Worldwide has completed its first engine transportation and storage on behalf of Singapore Airlines.

B&H was commissioned by Singapore Airlines to transport a GE90 engine from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to Singapore.

The team has handled GE90 engines for other customers and the assignment took 3 days to complete.

It is being stored within the climate-controlled environment of B&H’s warehouse at Singapore Changi Airport.

The engine is mounted on a specialist engine stand and will be stored until required at 23-24C and at a humidity level of 64-65%.

David Wong, Station Manager of B&H Worldwide Singapore, says, “We are proud that Singapore Airlines has chosen us for this job and our teams are fully committed to meet the transport and logistics needs of our aerospace customers.”
