Cainiao connects Xi'an and Liege with charter flights

Cainiao Group has connected Xi’an and Liege to provide capacity between China and Europe in time for the peak season.

The twice-weekly Boeing 767-300F charter flight from Xi’an landed at the Belgian airport carrying over 50 tons of e-commerce including over 150,000 cross-border parcels.

When the flight arrived at Cainiao’s Liege eHub, the goods were processed for customs clearance and sorted for onward delivery.

The process allows Cainiao to provide air-to-ground transportation connectivity, ensuring fast delivery to Spain, France, Germany and other European destinations.

The service provides Cainiao’s cross-border merchants with reliable and consistent delivery services.

William Xiong, Vice President of Cainiao Group, says, “This newly launched chartered flight marks a significant step forward with Cainiao's commitment to building a robust and resilient global logistics network. By expanding our airfreight capabilities, we are providing our merchants with faster and more cost-effective shipping solutions, while also ensuring that consumers receive their orders on time and with the best quality.”
