CargoAi provides transparency with CargoQUALITY

CargoAi has added CargoQUALITY to provide CargoMART users with performance transparency on their selected route.

CargoQUALITY allows freight forwarders using CargoMART to see an airline’s quality performance on their selected route, measuring them against their Notify for Delivery (NFD) performance.

To ensure fair comparison, CargoAi provides a standard cut-off point of six hours.

The quality overview is an additional aspect alongside price, speed and CO2 emissions, allowing users to make more informed decisions.

Around 100 airlines display their services on CargoMART, giving CargoAi access to the data of the million air waybills tracking during the last 12 months via CargoAi’s solutions.

CargoAi calculates a quality score per airline per route reflecting the percentage of shipments that were ready to be delivered by the airline at six hours after flight arrival according to a baseline roadmap coming from the booking information.

The planned NFD is compared to the actual AFD to calculate the quality score with results flowing into a historical CargoQUALITY score for the airline and route, and a score for all airlines on the route.

The quality scores of the past three months are taken into account to provide an up-to-date view on the airline’s quality performance.

Users of CargoMART can access an airline’s score by clicking on the quality icon next to the airline's name.

Matt Petot, CEO of CargoAi, says, “With CargoQUALITY, freight forwarders no longer need to rely on intuition regarding an airline’s efficiency and reliability, as they can now base their purchasing decisions on accurate, recent, and up-to-date quality information. CargoQUALITY applies the same standard rule of six hours after flight arrival to all of the airlines included on the CargoMART platform, providing an equal measure for every airline and every forwarder.”
