Cathay Pacific Cargo adds priority options

Cathay Pacific Cargo has launched three tiers of priority services to give customers a greater number of options for their shipments.

The three tiers are First, Essential Plus and Essential, all of which are available for general cargo, and First and Essential Plus are available for shipments with specialist handling requirements.

First is the highest level, offering access to capacity even on high-demand flights with guaranteed uplift when booked. In the event of unforeseen disruption, the shipment will be moved onto the next available flight.

Shipments also benefit from the latest acceptance times and early retrieval, and customers can access Cathay Pacific Cargo’s 24/7 Operations Control Centre for enquiries and support through a Live Chat function.

Essential is the standard service and upgraded Plus service provides more access to capacity on popular flights and a higher handling priority.

George Edmunds, Cathay Pacific General Manager Cargo Commercial says: “We want to make the value proposition of Priority more distinctive to our customers and we are using KPIs to ensure that we are transparent and deliver to their expectations. As part of our commitment to adopting new technology to deliver better service to our customers, we are pleased to add Live Chat as a new component to First.”
