Challenge Group has extended its network in India with flights to Bangalore.
The weekly flights were launched on Sunday 4 May, complementing flights to Mumbai which were launched last year and operate three times a week.
The Mumbai flights support verticals including pharmaceuticals, high-tech and temperature-sensitive cargo.
The Bangalore flights are being operated with a Boeing 767-300BDSF offering 50 tons of capacity.
Or Zak, Chief Commercial Officer of Challenge Group said: “Given that India is striving to become the factory of the world, and the production of key verticals has significantly increased during the past few years, our strategic decision to now launch a regular and direct India-Middle East-Europe service goes some way towards satisfying the intense customer demand on this route.”
