
The MoU sets out the framework of collaboration including route development between Zhengzhou and Riyadh, which includes a dual hub strategy.
The dual hub strategy will position Zhengzhou and Riyadh as strategic hubs to connect Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and Africa to optimise cargo flows and reduce transit times.
Cargo and logistics innovation will be a focus area to enhance digital operations, cross-border e-commerce and sustainability.
The partnership will support airport economic zone cooperation, facilitate the integration of bonded logistics, free trade zones and airside industries to drive trade growth and attract investment.
Regulatory alignment, technical and financial cooperation, and investment opportunities in the high-tech and aviation sectors in Zhengzhou will also be key aspects of the partnership.
The MoU signing was witnessed by His Excellency President Abdulaziz Al-Duailej of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Sun Shougang, Executive Vice-Governor of the Henan Provincial People’s Government, and Zhang Mingachao, Chairman of China Henan Aviation Group.

China Henan Aviation Group will strengthen collaboration with Saudia Cargo to enhance the Zhengzhou-Riyadh 'Air Silk Road' under both nations' civil aviation authorities' guidance.”
