Challenge Group receives 767 converted freighters

Challenge Group has completed its 767 conversion programme with the deployment of two Boeing 767-300 converted freighters.

The new arrivals, registered 9H-CAD and 9H-CAH under a Maltese AOC bring the total number of B767-300BDSFs in Challenge Group’s fleet to four.

The aircraft have a capacity of 52 tons and 400 cubic metres with advanced features designed for cargo operations including reinforced floors, wide cargo doors and optimised fuel efficiency.

They enabled the launch of services to Delhi in early October, which add to three flights a week to Mumbai.

Challenge Group operates five flights a week to India, serving growth industries such as pharmaceuticals, automotive, textiles, electronics and high tech.

The 767s free up 747s to serve other routes and enhance connectivity between Europe, the Far East and North America.

Or Zak, Chief Commercial Officer of Challenge Group, says, “Their versatility and fuel efficiency empower us to increase flight frequencies, enhance flexibility for charter operations, and explore new market opportunities. These aircraft will help meet the rising demand for complex verticals and e-commerce, reinforcing Challenge Group's leadership in the air cargo industry.”
